As many of you know, my wife Jen, my partner in life and in photography, is currently undergoing treatment for stage 3 breast cancer. She spent all of last summer going to doctors and getting tests, then the winter having surgeries and then chemo for several months from winter into the spring, and now she has to spend this summer getting radiation and continuing infusions every 3 weeks until February 2020. Needless to say, she’s being put through a lot. Jen’s a tough girl, but everything has really taken a toll on her, mentally and physically. The physical effects can remain even after everything is said and done.

Because of this, I wanted to put together a mini-session event to raise some money for her even though she’s against it! She has a really hard time accepting things for herself. She has taken care of everyone else since she was 19 and still does now throughout all of this, so I wanted to give her a way to take a retreat, a trip, lift some monetary burdens, anything that can help her during this trying time.

We’ll be having the mini-sessions on July 20th at one of Jen and my favorites places that we like to go to- the Yankee Hill Lock picnic area in Amsterdam! As always, mini-sessions will include a 15 minute session and at least 50 different edited images that will be delivered to you via email with a link to your gallery and you will be able to download all of the images (at no additional cost) as well as purchase prints if you’d like!
